Aymara Lodge is a hotspot for birders, who find more than xxx species of endemic birds here. On the property, the following can be observed and photographed: Saracuras, Peanut curassow, Jacus, Brown Aracari, Tucanuçu, True Parrot, Maracanãs and Encounter Parakeet, Necklace Maracanã and Arara Azul, Red Topet Woodpecker and Old Woodpecker (laurel), Arapaçú do Campo, Arapaçú Beija-flor, Ariramba-de-tailed-Ruiva, Canário da Terra Verdadeiro, Red Pipira, and many others!

The gallery forest near the 'corixo' (flooted area) that passes by the inn is one of the best known in the North Pantanal among bird watchers and photographers. In the ‘corixo’ it is possible to see Great and Small White Herons, Socozinho, Egret of the Forest, Picaparra and Pavãozinho do Pará, Gavião Belo, all species of Martins Pescador from South America, Japacanim, Cavalaria, as well as alligators and giant otters.

The tracks at Aymara offer the best opportunities for observing Jaó, Jacutinga de Garganta Azul, Rabo Branco de Barriga Fulva, Surucuá de Barriga Vermelha, Pica Pau Anão Escamado, Choca do Planalto, Chorozinho do Bico Comprido, Chororó do Pantanal, João do Pantanal , Estalador, Sebinho Rajado Amarelo and Sebinho de Olho de Ouro and Bate Para, Tijerila, Soldadinho and Uirapuru Orange, Caneleiro Verde, Saíra de Chapéu Preto and Pipira da Taoca, Canário do Mato, Coleiro do Brejo, João Pinto and Cardinal do Banhado, just to name a few!
